Another year is gonna pass soon.....time flies. One moment I was taking PSLE, the other moment I have finished my Bachelor course. OMG... 32 years has just slipped by.
I considered myself lucky to have proper education, a complete family with shelter and an acceptable amount of earning. But on the other hand, those needy out there whom have problem worrying where to get their food from for tomorrow are considered less fortunate. For us, we crack our head of what to eat tomorrow but unfortunate people wonder where to get their food from the next day. Therefore, I always tell myself always go for what you need and not what you want. I treasure what I have now and always remind myself not to let anything of what I have now slip off.
We can see so many year end sales, christmas lightings, buffets and nice clothes and stuff in shopping centers during this period of time. People rushing for presents, gifts and greeting cards. However, opportunities for needy people to visit such places is something nearly impossible, let alone buying something from orchard. I always had this feeling that there are voices from the poor calling for help but just don't know where to start helping them (especially the elderly).
Imagine you are someone whom is old with problem buying food for the next day, some friends of your ages had passed on and some lose their memories (Alzheimer). How would you feel? Loss? Helpless and hopeless? Useless? Fear?
I heard this from a nurse in one of the elderly home when my grandma is hospitalised. She told me that the major problem those elderly are suffering is fear. They fear of death, fear of being alone, fear of leaving their loves one behind when they passed away. The nurse made me understand more in elderly and how my grandma feels at that point of time. I grabbed every opportunities to with her and make her always have that wrinkled smile on her face. I miss my grandma deeply even though she has left me a few years back. From then, I been wanting to do something for the elderly. And....My resolution for this new year is to give and share with all elderly in this world with my utmost effort. I hope and pray hard to god I can start this somewhere and let all the needy elderly everywhere to receive my minor effort in giving and sharing.

TECHNOLOGY KILLS
It has been quite a while since my last post.
Thought I would have more time for the things that I been wanting so much to do before my exam....but now.....haiz.....WORSE.
By saying no time is always an excuse to let oneself feels better when something in mind is kept suspended.
People around me always consider me as a person with endless passion for $$, a man without feeling tired by using all his energy earning $$ and a robust and practical man with only $$ in his life and nothing else. WOohooo... who on earth dislike $ and honestly only $$ can make wonders.
Only $$ can have such comfortable life as most of the Singaporean are having now..... for example; I went ION this evening with my dar dar but unfortunately my stamina does not allow me to go shopping with this shopping freak all the way. We happened to visit the toilet due to "high tide" and we dropped by 1 very very very very....(don't know how many very must I use) beautiful toilet. The first sight to me was like WOW WOW WOW. Every urinal there is one little TV screen for ads, almost everything is automatic (except for doing business you have to do it yourself), tissue buffet for all visitors, ceramic tiles, basin and beautiful contrast of lighting all over the place.
I shook my head once I came out of the toilet. Must they go to the extend to make so WOW a toilet for someone just to do business? As long as it is clean and hygiene, I think its enough. Why I think that way is because:
1) The energy (electricity) they used daily.
2) The material (resources) they used to make all those WOW technology.
3) The money they spend to maintain the standard (cleanliness) and by having 1 china lady standing in between both sexes toilet don't know which way to go.
Is Singapore really going into what you call 'Green Plan 2015'. Even a toilet requires such highly technological equipped capability and that is one of the many toilets in that building. OMG that's absurd..... The more energy we used, the faster the depletion of our natural resources is. And I told dar dar this "The faster and smarter the technologies is, the faster we human are going back to stone age"
I really hope the government can do something on the controlling of technology in appropriate places and make this earth a more sustainable one for our future generation. An EARTH without natural disasters, adverse climate condition and disease free is something we should look forward to and not these luxurious things in life.
